Starting this Sunday, April 6th, TV Globo will air an exclusive documentary about Ayrton Senna during the show Esporte Espetacular. It will be divided in four episodes, which promise to be a \u201cbig gift to all the fans who love the Brazilian driver to this day\u201d, as described by host Glenda Kozlowski on TV Globo\u2019s promo for the documentary.<\/p>\n
The network\u2019s news team delved deep into the driver\u2019s history, delivering a great film, which includes special moments of Senna\u2019s career, like the duels with Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet, the races in the rain and the pact with the Brazilian national soccer team when the squad became a four-time world champion, in 1994.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was like seeing Pel\u00e9 playing\u201d, says the national team\u2019s coach at the time, Carlos Alberto Parreira, documentary\u2019s interviewees. The film also features other TV personalities, like William Bonner, Luciano Huck and Pedro Bial, to name a few.<\/p>\n
Drivers were also interviewed, as well as people who were close to the driver as he reached his F-1 peak. \u201cHe wanted to teach me through experience\u201d, says Bruno Senna, Ayrton\u2019s nephew. \u201cHe always was and always will be Ayrton Senna from Brazil\u201d, says Galv\u00e3o Bueno on the promo for de documentary broadcasted by TV Globo.<\/p>\n
Four episodes will air on every Sunday, during Esporte Espetacular.
