O May 1st, the date that marks 20 years of Ayrton Senna\u2019s legacy, Iguatemi Ribeir\u00e3o Preto shopping mall opens the \u201cSenna Emotion \u2013 20 Years of a Legacy\u201d exhibit, in partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, Iguatemi Shopping Centers Company and Dunlop \u2013 leader in tire manufacturing.<\/p>\n
The interactive travelling exhibit recreates the personal and professional trajectory of one of Brazil\u2019s greatest idols through personal objects, pictures, videos and stories.<\/p>\n
The space, featuring themes that marked the driver\u2019s career and legacy, will be divided in three parts. At the \u201cStarting Line\u201d, the gest gets to know a little more about Senna\u2019s private life through a display with items like glasses, a bible, gloves, shirts and watches, besides video interviews with personalities, friends and relatives.<\/p>\n
\u201cA Winner\u2019s Trajectory\u201d deals with important moments of Senna\u2019s career, like the start of his story in motor sports, his classic 007 go-kart and his helmet and suit. The tour ends at the \u201cPodium\u201d, where visitors will find real trophies and be able to interact with a virtual one, through augmented reality, and share pictures with friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe exhibit is part of the celebrations for the 20 years of Ayrton\u2019s legacy. It\u2019s a way of honoring and remembering one of the country\u2019s biggest idols. Besides reliving Ayrton\u2019s trajectory, the visitor will be able to interact with the pieces and share with friends their picture with a virtual trophy\u201d, said Viviane Senna, Ayrton Senna Institute\u2019s president.<\/p>\n
On display at Iguatemi Ribeir\u00e3o until June 15th, the exhibit will tour other Iguatemi malls, passing through Florian\u00f3polis, Sorocaba, S\u00e3o Paulo, S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 do Rio Preto, Porto Alegre, Bras\u00edlia and Campinas.
