The race\u2019s 49th edition, over a distance of 22.3 miles, will take place on September 7th.<\/p>\n<p>Since Ana Marcela is a big fan of Ayrton Senna, the swimmer\u2019s sponsor, Englishtown \u2013 which is also an Ayrton Senna Institute partner \u2013 has come up with an unique and innovative idea for the race: she\u2019ss going to wear a customized green-and-yellow swim cap, alluding to the helmet that became Ayrton Senna\u2019s symbol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince I was born in 1992, I wasn\u2019t alive during his time, but his competitive spirit taught me how to face what seemed impossible and how to turn my athletic dreams into reality\u201d, says the young Brazilian swimmer.<\/p>\n<p>2014 is a special year because it marks the 20th anniversary of our three-time F1 world champion\u2019s legacy.
