On that Grand Prix, exactly 28 years ago, three of the best drivers ever were gathered at the race\u2019s podium: Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first and only time the three of them shared a podium. Put together, the three multiple time champions won 14 world titles over the course of their careers and took part in amazing duels \u2013 like in that race in Spain, even though Senna\u2019s car was 80 HP less powerful than Schumacher\u2019s Benetton and was also inferior to Prost\u2019s Williams.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian was able to put his McLaren on the second row of the starting grid, in third place, right behind the Williams duo \u2013 Prost in the pole position and Damon Hill in second place.\u00a0 Without ever putting the Frenchman\u2019s win at risk, Senna managed to score a second-place finish, after Hill had problems with his Williams. But Senna wasn\u2019t far behind, after masterful performances at Interlagos and Donington Park, where the rain compensated for his equipment\u2019s shortcomings. Seven years later, Schumacher got emotional after matching Senna\u2019s total number of victories in the main category of worldwide motor sports.
