But the essence of his personality and character \u2013 defined by his determination and solidarity \u2013 is the actual focus of \u201cAyrton Senna, The Musical\u201d, which is set to open at the Riachuelo Rio Theatre on November 10.\u00a0 Produced by Aventura Entretenimento (responsible by the Brazilian productions of Hair, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz), in a partnership with the Senna family and presented by Bradesco, \u201cAyrton Senna, The Musical\u201d is Aventura\u2019s 24th production in nine years of activity, and a different spectacle than anything the company has ever done. \u201cTo talk about Ayrton Senna, we must fly high\u201d, says Aniela Jordan, partner-director of Aventura, along with Fernando Campos, Luiz Calainho and Patr\u00edcia Telles. \u201cAyrton Senna, The Musical\u201d is sponsored by Atlas Schindler, Riachuelo, Sem Parar, Volkswagen Financial Services and supported by Alelo and White Martins. Avianca is the official transportation company and Localiza Hertz is the official rental car service.<\/p>\n<p>Hugo Bonemer (Hair, Yank!, Rock in Rio, The Musical and \u00a0A Lei do Amor) was the actor chosen to play the lead, as Ayrton Senna, and he will be supported by a cast of 24 actors. The speed that marked Ayrton Senna\u2019s life will be represented on the stage by aerial and pendulum acts and by the light and sound design that the audience will experience during the performance.\u00a0 The play will be directed by Renato Rocha, who developed an international career for almost 10 years, and became renowned for combining the circus and the theatre.
