He was also a trusted advisor and friend during Ayrton\u2019s challenging years in England between 1981 and 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As depicted in the first episode of Netflix\u2019s Senna series, both Chico and Ralph Firman, head of the Van Diemen team, referred to Senna as a \u201cquick man.\u201d Ayrton was eager to secure a deal with more test sessions at a lower cost to join Firman\u2019s team, confident in his ability to deliver strong results. (Cr\u00e9dito: reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o Netflix)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Additionally, Chico advised the young driver to change the name on his cockpit from \u201cAyrton da Silva\u201d to \u201cAyrton Senna.\u201d According to Chico, this change was made at the start of Senna\u2019s British F3 campaign and ultimately remained for the rest of the three-time Formula 1 champion\u2019s career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In an exclusive interview with <em>Senna TV<\/em>, Chico also highlighted how unique Senna\u2019s driving style was in karting. \u201cAyrton was extremely fast, very daring, and had an aggressive style. That was evident from his early karting days.
