In a gesture that reaffirms the connection between the Principality of Monaco and the legacy of Ayrton Senna, Prince Albert II visited, last Friday (7), the headquarters of Senna Brands\u2014 the company that manages the Senna and Senninha brands\u2014 and the Ayrton Senna Institute (IAS) in S\u00e3o Paulo, during the same weekend as the S\u00e3o Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An admirer of the three-time world champion, the monarch was received by the driver\u2019s nephews Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brands, Lalalli Senna, and Bruno Senna, as well as the IAS Vice President, Ewerton Fulini. The meeting celebrated the memory of the \u201cKing of Monaco,\u201d the title by which Ayrton Senna is recognized thanks to his historic dominance at the Monte Carlo circuit, where he secured six victories\u2014five of them consecutive\u2014delivering performances that became benchmarks in world motorsport. The occasion also reinforced the long-standing ties between the Monaco royal family and the Senna family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, Prince Albert II viewed rare pieces from the family\u2019s private collection and learned about the projects developed by the Ayrton Senna Institute to accelerate the quality of public education in Brazil \u2014 initiatives that have already supported more than 39 million children and young people across over 3,000 Brazilian municipalities. Visiting Brazil for commitments related to COP 30, the Prince requested the tour to learn more about Senna Brands\u2019 facilities. He also signed an iconic helmet of the driver, highlighting his respect and admiration for the three-time world champion. In addition, the Prince attended a presentation by Lalalli Senna about Senna Tower, the brand\u2019s first real estate project, inspired by the Hero\u2019s Journey and developed by the driver\u2019s niece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, the Prince attended the unveiling of an Ayrton Senna monument at the \u201cFairmont Corner,\u201d alongside Bianca Senna, reinforcing his admiration for the driver\u2019s legacy and strengthening ties with the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, during the Monaco Grand Prix, the Prince hosted Bruno, Bianca, and Lalalli Senna and was taken for a lap around the circuit by Bruno in the McLaren Senna. At the event, Lalalli also presented him with a sculpture from the \u201cNosso Senna Collection \u2013 Champion Edition,\u201d celebrating the connection between Ayrton Senna, the family, and the Principality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
