Senna Brand launches collection inspired by Ayrton Senna’s historic connection with Brazil’s national team

Senna Brand introduces “Brasil Collection,” a new global apparel and accessories collection inspired by Ayrton Senna’s connection with historic moments of Brazil’s national football team. The pieces are now available at Senna Shop, the brand’s official online store in Brazil and internationally.

The collection includes t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, caps, and accessories in Brazil’s iconic green and yellow colors, blending references from motorsport and Brazilian football culture. Highlights include two jersey designs inspired by the classic aesthetic of the national team shirts, reinterpreted with elements tied to Senna’s legacy.

The pieces feature details such as three stars representing Senna’s Formula 1 world titles, his signature, and the phrase: “Brazilians only accept titles when they are championships. And I am Brazilian,” printed inside the collar.

Another central element of the collection is the number 94 displayed on the back of jerseys and hoodies, referencing the year Brazil won its fourth FIFA World Cup title. That same year, Senna participated in the ceremonial kickoff of a Brazil national team friendly match just days before the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola. Following the World Cup victory, Brazil’s players paid tribute to the driver with a banner that became one of the most iconic images in Brazilian sports history: “Senna…aceleramos juntos. O Tetra é nosso!” (Senna…we accelerated together. The fourth title is ours!)

Ayrton Senna’s relationship with the Brazilian flag also inspires the collection’s narrative. His gesture of raising the flag after victories became one of the defining images of his career and helped strengthen his emotional connection with millions of Brazilians. The first time it happened was 40 years ago, after his victory at the Detroit Grand Prix in the United States, the day after Brazil’s elimination from the FIFA World Cup.

In addition to exclusive products created for the Brazilian market — including a thermal tumbler, cap, and t-shirts — part of the collection will also be distributed internationally in more than 70 countries.

“This collection translates symbols that are deeply connected to the emotional memory of Brazilian sport and that remain relevant today. Ayrton Senna always represented a collective feeling of national pride and the belief that victory is only possible through determination and willpower. Our goal was to transform this narrative into contemporary pieces that carry historical references in a modern way,” says Ana Simões, Marketing Director at Senna Brands.
