The series retelling the story of Ayrton Senna is set to launch in 2024, and fans of the three-time champion got a glimpse of what’s to come.
On Thursday (1st), Netflix released a video highlighting its major upcoming releases in Brazil and worldwide, including the biographical series about the legendary driver. The video is available on the streaming platform’s official channels and the Senna brand’s social media pages.

On social media, Netflix also shared a behind-the-scenes photo featuring a replica of the McLaren alongside the filming equipment.

About Senna Series
The miniseries, one of Netflix Brazil’s most ambitious and innovative productions, is produced by Gullane and has been filmed across Argentina, Uruguay, and the United Kingdom, wrapping up production at the end of 2023.
Spanning six episodes, JOURNEY will, for the first time, explore Ayrton’s journey of resilience, challenges, joys, and sorrows, delving into his personality and personal relationships.
The story begins with the start of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s motorsport career, focusing on his move to England to compete in Formula Ford, and concludes with the tragic accident at Imola, Italy, during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
Directed by Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende, JOURNEY is produced by Gullane in collaboration with Senna Brands and the Senna family. Amorim also serves as the showrunner.
